Pro & Con of living together in same room or having ur own room

This is a topic my mum brought up for discussion this morning....Which got me thinking....

First lets kick of with the Pro's of sharing a room with your friend:

1. Cheaper Rental Rates
2. Not so lonely alone...
3. Easy communication
4. Got company...
5. If same class/course friend then can wake each other up for classes...

Now for the Con's:

1. If u aren't compatible with your roommate it can lead to arguments, example: you like to study with music turned on, he/she doesn't like it...
2. Clashing personalities is also a problem
3. Lack of privacy...
4. Have to worry about your own code of conduct...

*Actually there are many more Con's but i cant think of anymore at the moment....

Secondly, lets see the Pro's of having a room to yourself:

1. Have more privacy
2. No arguments / misunderstanding / conflicts with anyone, cause no roommate
3. No need to worry if your things might be a hindrance to your roommate
4. Not much to worry about really...nice to stay alone sometimes....

Now for the Con's which i guess there'll be a lot more than i can think of now.... :

1. Expensive rental rates!
2. Nobody to wake u up for class, late then miss bus...
3. Might get lonely, if whole house dun have friends...but can make new ones lar...but b4 that very lonely de~~~~
